September 2020 Monthly Ride Report Recap

In this month of low business volume during the continuing pandemic, three (3) cases were reported, recorded, and recapped.

6 September a family of four reportedly capsized in their raft in a river-rapids attraction Wild River Rafting at West Midlands Safari Park. The report described them as sustaining minor injuries, “drenched” and “confused”. Report

7 September An adult male rider allegedly unfastened a passive restraint device and was ejected from a Trabant ride at a carnival operation in Anapra, Mexico. Report (Spanish)

Unspecified September date, a child reportedly sustained a small laceration on her shoulder from contact with an exposed bolt on fencing while queuing for a waterslide at Waterworld (UK). Subsequent media coverage reports the mother’s demand for refund of the admission fee. Report
